Description

Miranda inhaled a deep breath of air, stretching her lungs to the max. Tonight was the night. Date number three. Well, technically it was more than that, but since she and Daniel started dating as a happily married couple, she was calling it date number three. A busy life and careers had pulled them apart, making them almost strangers. Married and dating was a way to reconnect and fall in love all over again.

Mornings were filled with adoring kisses instead of the robotic pecks on the cheek, after work greetings became full-bodied hugs instead of nothing at all, and meals involved conversations when otherwise they were spent staring at the screens of their phones, reviewing emails, and whatever else occupied their attention.
